I've Found a New Addiction!

A few weeks ago, PETA did a promo for a product for a company called LUSH. It was for this lotion whereas if you buy one, the money goes to a charity, in this case, the "stop the seal slaughter" cause. So I bought the lotion, but I haven't opened it because I already have a bottle of lotion I'm currently using, and then another full bottle to use after that. So I'm good and stocked when it comes to body lotion (I plan on giving the one I bought to my stepmother for Mother's Day). But it did get me interested in their other stuff.

They specialize in all-natural bath products, lotions, soaps, skin care items, shower products, and fragrances. A lot of their stuff is vegan, and they tell you right off the bat whether something is vegan or not! Plus you can even filter your search to find only vegan things!!! It's a dream come true! Not only that, but I found out that there is a LUSH shop near my home! YAY!

I went ahead and ordered some stuff for my and Mr. Wytch's vacation coming up. It's supposed to be arriving tomorrow, but I couldn't wait until then to try the stuff out!!! So I high-tailed my fat ass over to the nearby shop and bought two bath bombs, a bubble bar, and a bath melt!

I was expecting the prices there to be higher than what was online. That would make sense, wouldn't it? Stuff is usually cheaper to buy direct from the factory than in a retail store. Well, the stuff was more expensive, but only barely. One of the bath bombs was more expensive only by 15 cents! The other bomb and the bubble bar were higher by 20 cents, but the bath melt's price kind of pissed me off. It was more expensive by $2.80. But then I went online and threw the same four items I got into a bag and made like I was going to order them. With the additional cost of S&H, I still got a better deal by going to the shop! Hooray for me!

The only time I think I'll order something online is if it's not sold in stores, like their retro stuff. You can only get that online. I just want to buy all the retro bath bombs at once and have a huge box on my doorstep later!! Tee-hee!

When I got home from the shop I took a bath and used one of the bath bombs and it was amazing! The water turned color and the smell was strong! Not so strong that I choked, but good and powerful! After the bath I just left the bathwater there in the tub. It was too beautiful a color to watch go down the drain, plus it was freshening up the bathroom and making its way to the other rooms! When Mr. Wytch came home the first thing he said was "It smells nice in here!"

Before this the only thing I tried of theirs was a soap sample they sent along with that lotion I got for my stepmother. That's another cool thing: they give you free samples of shit all the time. But when you go to the shop you actually have a say in what samples you get. See, when I got the lotion in the mail, they sent me two different soap samples and one of them, sadly, wasn't vegan. So I gave that one to a co-worker. But at the shop the girl was about to give me a nonvegan item and I told her that I'm a pretty strict vegan, so she gave me some cocnut soap and another blue soap. I had to give the coconut one away because Mr. Wytch is sensitive to that smell (I had forgotten this while shopping).

Tonight I'm taking another bath and I don't know if I should use the other bath bomb or the bubble bar or the bath melt! I've heard that you can also cut them up into halves or threes or even quarters!! Also, you can throw different items in the bath together and make a LUSH bath cocktail!!! Oh, this is so exciting! Weeeeee! I think I've found something good to reward myself with after going to the gym! And this won't even make me fat!
